Аннотация

Orthorhombic diarsenides of Fe, Co, and Ni of the löllingite group (löllingite FeAs2, safflorite CoAs2, and rammelsbergite NiAs2) are typical of deposits of the five-element (Co, Ni, Bi, Ag, and U) association and similar Co-Ni arsenide deposits. They are less common in deposits of other types. Diarsenides of the löllingite group usually contain the three major metals and are characterized by the prevalence of ore or two metals. The continuous löllingite-safflorite solid-solution (hereafter, isomorphous) series is widespread in nature, whereas the safflorite-rammelsbergite isomorphous series is subordinate. We discovered the continuous löllingite-rammels-bergite series during the investigation of antimonide-arsenide mineralization in the Noril'sk ore field.
