Distinct correlation is established between Sr and Ba content in Devonian and Carboniferous calciferous-dolomite formation and these elements' mass-flows in subsurface waters. Assuming that the main source of Sr in the rocks is celestine and Ba - barite, the intensity of their leaching within the Central part of the Russian Plate (CPRP) was estimated. For the first time evaluated and mapped were mass flows of Sr and Ba, whose minerals are syngenetic to calciferous-dolomite series of the CPRP. The mass flows depend on these elements' content in rocks and subsurface waters, as well as on their water-exchange intensity in upper layers of Moscow artesian basin.
