HEAT FLOW AND SPREADING RATE IN BACK-ARC BASINS: THE EXAMPLE OF THE TYRRHENIAN SEA

Abstract

The results of calculations using geothermal data, the spreading rate and the lithospheric rhickness in the Tyrrhenian Sea are given. A co-ordination of the calculations with the geological structure of the region is made.
