The study of the effect of surface graphitization at 7.0 Gpa and 2300-2400 °C on the diamonds morphology has shown that there appear some specific corrosion sculptures lacking any regular geometrical contours nor connection with symmetry of the faces. These sculptures differ from etching sculptures generated on diamonds by their solution or oxidation; therefore they have their own homomorphic meaning defining just the process of surface graphitization.
