Composition and structure of the Upper Neopleistocene alluvial and lacustrine sections in the southern trans-Urals region are discussed. Sections of the Kamyshlov alluvial complex (Streletskoe, Vvedenskoe, Verkhnyaya Alabuga, Miasskoe, Bol'shoe Balandino) are correlated between each other based on their facies structure and with the lacustrine Kumlyak Formation from the Yuzhnyi section of the Baturino coal quarry. Paleontological remains (mammals, mollusks, and ostracodes) are characterized. Based on the comprehensive study of sections, correlation scheme of alluvial and lacustrine sediments is proposed.
