Based on the analysis of sections of the southeastern Sikhote Alin (Primor'e), it is inferred that the subdivision and mapping of chaotic olistostrome complexes by traditional stratigraphic methods is impossible. Tectono-stratigraphic complexes, which include proto-, paleo-, meso- and neoautochthon, suballochthon, and neoallochthon, along with allochthons I-VIII, are suggested to be used as basic units. The complexes of the region were compared and correlated, and regular series and associations representing a complicated history of stratified accretionary prisms of the northwestern Pacific framing were distinguished.
