ON THE GROWTH RATE OF AN INHOMOGENEITY AT THE SOURCE OF A FUTURE EARTHQUAKE

Abstract

The growth rate of an inhomogeneity at the source of a future earthquake is investigated as a function of time and the magnitude of the earthquake. The results are compared with field observations.
