НАИМЕНОВАННЫЕ АМФИБОЛЫ: НОВАЯ КАТЕГОРИЯ АМФИБОЛОВ, ПРИЗНАННЫХ МЕЖДУНАРОДНОЙ МИНЕРАЛОГИЧЕСКОЙ АССОЦИАЦИЕЙ (ММА), И ПРАВИЛЬНЫЙ ПОРЯДОК ПРИСТАВОК В НАЗВАНИЯХ АМФИБОЛОВ

Abstract

The IMA CNNMMN has actually recognized the new category of names - «named amphiboles» which may be published without preliminary approve, under condition that these names correspond to the amphibole nomenclature. Commonly, in those cases, there are known only chemical composition and the symmetry (monoclinic or triclinic). Those cases cannot be considered as the new amphibole species, and the IMA CNMMN criteria to distinguish the new mineral species remain intact. Besides, there is determined, for the first time, the order to use prefixes in amphibole names - as in names of the mineral species, so for the «named amphiboles».
