dc.description.abstractGenetic and geological model for the formation of the Kovdor Massif and the accompanying apatite was discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on the distinguishing of reliable sequence of geologic event resulting formation of the massif and the deposit. Special attention was paid to the active fluid-magma interaction of various magmatic intrusions of the massif with the country rock. the common fluid phase of cogenetic immmiscible carbonatite and nepheline syenite magmas caused the formation of sphene-apatite.
