dc.description.abstractParticularities in concentration of normal and tangential stresses at boundaries between the enclosing rocks and seam during its mining have been considered. Mathematical models describing parameters of zone of support pressure have been developed. Dependence of the parameters on depth of occurrence of the seam has been described. Influence of angle of the seam, extent of mined section, and side pressure coefficient on the parameters has been shown. Average density of rocks has been taken into account. Conditions of arising the shear violations of contact between the rocks and seam beyond maximum of the support pressure have been determined.
