Horst-accretionary systems (HAS) extended to the northeast and alternating with rift-grabens (RG) were established within the bounds of the southeastern margin of Asia. The synchronous formation of these positive and negative structures occurred in Jurassic - Early Cretaceous. Within the framework of the concept of tectonic layering of the lithosphere, rectaduction models have been developed which from geodynamic positions explain the synchronous development of extension structures (RG) favorable to occurrence of synsedimentary basite volcanism and compression structures (HAS) that caused basite-hyperbasite and anatectoid intrusive magmatism. The assumption that in the east rift-grabens are essentially continuations of intracontinental latitudinal interblock suture zones has been grounded.
