Relaxation processes and present-day block structure were evaluated for a local area in the Lovozero Massif, proceeding from the fact that with a well-structured spatial distribution of relaxation sources one can treat impulsive microseismic wave-like disturbances as the results of the present-day activity of faults. This technique helps to identify underruptured' zones actively evolving in fault-block structures and to qualitatively evaluate the geodynamic stability of individual blocks. Tectonic stresses, both released and still active, were evaluated.
