This article considers the Carboniferous and Permian stratigrapy of the Karajilga River basin on the northern slope of the Pshart Ridge within the South Pshart tectonic block. The most complete Carboniferous-Permian section in this area consists of two sharply different parts. The lower part includes terrigenous rocks, whereas the upper part is composed of variegated calcareous-siliceous-sandy-shaly-volcanic rocks.
