dc.description.abstractStanovoy fold system (DSFS) is a giant tectonic melange zone (Fig. 1) that includes the Kalar, Kurul'ta, Zverev, Sutam, Ayumkan, and Dzhugdzhur tectonic blocks composed of granulite-facies rocks. The study of the granulite complexes of the Aldan Shield-DSFS junction and the deciphering of their metamorphic evolution is the key to understanding the interaction between these large lithospheric segments in the Early Precambrian. The present paper presents the results of U-Pb dating of single zircons from charnockites of the Kurul'ta Block.
