dc.description.abstractNew data on the taxonomic composition, geographic and stratigraphie occurrence of Paleogene ciliates and problematic microfossils in the southern former Soviet Union are discussed. New taxa of tintinnid ciliates, Tianella szczechurae gen. et sp. nov. and Bicomella sola gen. et sp. nov., and a form of uncertain taxonomic position, Voorthuyseniella tunicata sp. nov., are described.
