GEOMAGNETIC FIELD REVERSALS: MAIN RESULTS AND BASIC PROBLEMS

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the data available for the characteristics of the geomagnetic field during its reversals using the latest results. The main attention is given to the problems that arise during the interpretation of these data, the solution of which calls for particular attention.
