We consider examples of albitization in rare-metal sodium-lithium pegmatites, genetically related to Hercynian plumasitic two-mica leucogranites. As early as the beginning of prospecting, we noted an empirical relationship between the blue color of cleavelandite and the pollucite paragenesis. The development of criteria for the productivity of pegmatite is still far from complete and perfect. It should be noted that no criterion, taken alone, can be sufficiently effective. It is necessary to consider a whole combination of mineralogic, geochemical and earlier considered textural and genetic criteria.
