Adequate description of interaction between ground and long bodies during their introduction or during seismic action is necessary for providing the good functioning of various structures. Such description is possible with the use of developed contact-free analogous optical measuring systems. The systems have been tested and used for recording the movements of long bodies during impact under laboratory and field conditions. In order to perform more exact static and dynamic measurements, it is necessary to provide high-frequency modulation of laser source and to use narrow-band hardware for amplification of demodulation of signal.
