ON THE INDUCTIVE PROOF OF LEGENDRE ADDITION THEOREM

Abstract

Various proofs of the Legendre Addition Theorem, as they appear in the mathematical literature, are outlined. The proof of the mentioned theorem, based on the induction method, is analyzed in detail.
