The galactic version of geochronological scale, which is based on hypothesis that its basic reference points correspond to moments of geological time, when our Solar System traversed the spiral arms of Galaxy, is analyzed. Concrete mechanisms of related astronomic model are discussed. As is shown, the suggested model contradicts the current understanding of Galaxy structure and the Solar System traveling through the galactic disk. It does not improve geochronological scale but leads to the inadmissible confusion.
